I am getting an error ‘Application you selected does not exist’ when I try to log into my iCloud account or App Store

I had this same issue. I fixed it by doing this;
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.
Hope this helps.
The system is up now and I am able to log in with my apple ID and password

apple support said the issue has been resolved and if you reboot your phone it should automatically sign you in!
Mine just fixed. Try again after resetting you network.
I had this exact same issue (using iPhone 11 Pro Max)
Solution: Installing the latest Apple IOS update and attempting to authenticate again solved the problem.
