I can’t sign in to my Apple ID

I received a request on my IPhone to enter my password for my Apple ID for verification. Then I tried many times to enter my password but it always gives me this message ( Verification Failed; the application you have selected does not exist) !!!

what is the problem please? I’m worrying about my data on the phone and my account as well.

can you please support me to fix this ?
