Connectivity to Apple Watch

I would like to purchase an Apple Watch with cellular capability. My iPhone is with Koodo (umbrella company from Telus). Telus is one of the companies that support the emergency call feature (without being close to iPhone or on wifi) but Koodo is not listed. Since Koodo is under the Telus umbrella, would it work?

My mobile contract is with telechoice. Will this work with an applewatch? My mobile contract is with telechoice. I understand an Apple Watch will only work with Telstra/Optus/Vodafone. Will I be able to connect the watch to my telechoice phone but also use a Telstra sim in the watch so I can use data when not near my phone. Can I use an Apple Watch 7 Cellular for emergency call without having an eSIM subscription? I am considering purchasing the new Apple watch series 7. Will I be able to use the watch’s cellular function to make emergency calls - e.g. in case of a fall detection - and without the iPhone nearby?

No, Koodo does not support the Apple Watch.
