BACKUP

My windows laptop says backup in iTunes failed. My iPhone is 8 plus. I have restarted

both and disabled security with no luck. The iTunes has just been reinstalled.

I'd recommend that you take a look at this great resource related to being unable to back up: If you can't back up your iOS or iPadOS device to a computer or restore it from a backup
