Where can I find a BIS (Bureau of Indian standards) certificate for Apple Mac Pro?

Hello, I bought an apple mac pro from NewEgg.com and sent it to India for my cousin. The link of the product is below. The product is stuck in the custom clearance Indian office because they want the BIS Certificate (Bureau of Indian standards). I already contacted Apple India 3-4 times, and they told me to contact Apple USA. I called Apple USA and they are saying to contact Apple India. I am so confused. If I do not provide Indian customs with the BIS certificate then they will destroy the product. Please help me.

Please do not export anything with knowing the India customs process, Any Electronic goods which goes through India customs needs to be BIS certified. MacBook Pro is BIS certified in India, There will be a BIS/Declaration of Conformity number for MacBook assigned by India BIS authority which you would need to have it custom cleared and same applies for Mac Pro.

Hi Gajbi,

I am facing the exact issue , and my package is held up at customs clearance for a couple of weeks now. I had purchased a MacBook Pro from Amazon.com and got it shipped to India. Have checked with Apple and Amazon customer service on the BIS Certificate, but haven’t gotten any success thus far.

Wanted to check if you were able to get customs clearance for your product?
