MAc Catalina having kernal panic crashes

I have observed that after upgrading to Catalina my Macbook air 13 inch mid 2015 model frequently experiences kernel panic crashes

I have reinstalled Catalina from scratch and installed IntelliJ IDE and this occurs most frequently when IntelliJ IDE starts. Some time when browser is opened and so on..

Any help?

No storage mechanism is permanent. You must always keep at least two copies of all essential data at all times on two separate mechanisms. Whether they are on the internet on another drive and another computer (also known as the cloud), or they are flash drives, printed material, CDs, or just hand written notes. Anything you can't trust to your own brain to remember, should be backed up somewhere else in two different places.

I just purchased my 16" MacBook Pro 2 weeks ago and I have had this problem come up 4 times already. I can't figure out what is causing it!!! Blew more than $2K on a computer just to have it crash randomly. Makes me very mad. Plz help.

My parents had a dead on arrival Dell hard drive brand new. So yes it can happen even to the best. Call Apple, ask for a replacement. Most authorized sales stores have two week return policies, Apple has a 90 day hardware and software warranty. 1 year hardware warranty. And a paid for hardware and software warranty called AppleCare.
