Can you forward pictures from the text messages to an email ?

Yes, you should be able to. Tap and hold on the picture. You should see a drop down menu. Tap "More". Select the picture you want to forward. Tap the forward arrow in the lower right corner. Enter the email address in the To: box. Send.

I just tried this. Sent it to my work Exchange account. The picture came through fine.

Note: if you try to forward it to the email address you use as your Apple ID, that won't work.

You can't forward them. Copy and paste or save them first then email them.

Try to send it to an email that is not connected, in any way to your Apple ID. If it's connected to your Apple ID, the photo will just come back to Messages.

The "send" button is in the message entry box, not the top right corner.

Hello IdrisSeabright...I tried it before replying since I never did it before and it did not work...The Send in the top right corner was grey...Seeing your reply I know your answer is correct so I will try again.

Is there anything you can suggest as I was using an iCloud email Alias...

Thank you so much for the reply, yes I was sending to an email address connected to my Apple ID, that was my mistake.

Also, the Send in the top right corner that I said was grey was after I copied and was trying to paste and send as a new email, I corrected that issue now.
