Okay so basically my friend jessie is letting me use his old phone but i need to download apps and stuff and he isn't logged into his apple id and he does not know the password or the answer to the first security question i need help resetting the device

Have them enter the Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password.
If they are being told there isn't enough information to reset them, have them contact Apple ID Support.
