IPad for School - Meet and Presentation

Pandemy impacted on our life and devices helped.

New challenges in September school requests.

Is the latest iPad model (Pro) capable of allowing simultaneously Meet screen sharing and presenting Keynotes/ptt/google presentations docs? iPad would be my preferred choice.

With IPad Air in my possession (1’model), it was not possible to do that, without loosing video and audio capabilities. And it was complicated for me, not feasible for Elementary kids.

Many thanks for your time

In my opinion, iPads are not suitable for video meetings. For me, its because the positioning of the front cam (its just like I look weird, no major issue). I use my laptop if ever I do online meetings.

And if you are referring to the 'split view' feature, where two apps can be opened and be viewed at the same time, yes you can on iPad Pro. To be specific, Split View is available with iPad Pro, iPad (5th generation and later), iPad Air 2 and later, or iPad mini 4 and later.

Hi,

I think that the videoconferencing tool will impact how you present more than the iPad version. The iPad Pro is capable of sharing your presentation and you. Some of the tools that educators I've been working with have been using have varying capabilities. It's not about the size of the screen, it's about the apps allowing you to share everything that you would like to share on the screen at once.

You may want to explore Apple's Learn from home resources page and request a virtual conference https://www.apple.com/education/k12/learning-from-home/.

Best,

Nia
