So I have had my 11 pro max for maybe 6 months now and there are two prominent issues I have.
1) call sound volume and quality - it has become very difficult to hear calls and the sound quality is poor. I have followed troubleshooting guides including sound and haptics and adjusting accessibility options to no avail; and,
2) sound volume in my video recordings is extremely low almost to the point I can’t hear them ......

I've tried these methods a couple of times to no avail. My problem is not the speakers though, it's the volume of caller on the other end, (they can hear me just fine) and when I make a video recording their is extremely low volume for about half the video, then gets louder as we near the end of the video.
Otherwise, I've had no issues with it. For now I am using AirPod Pros or the Speaker option for phone calls, and for video I have switched to my 4th Gen iPad Pro.
More and more users are reporting this problem on different iPhone models. I believe I have tried all of the suggestions that have been made in the responses to these low volume reports. I have to use the speaker to hear most phone conversations. I have reported this issue on the Apple feedback page. It would be helpful if you reported the problem there as well.
