The current OS 10.9.5 does not support features on ICloud and cloud drive. Can I update this OS, the software update function shows to available upgrades and I could not find Yosemite in the Apple Store?

Unless you have a specific reason to choose an earlier OS, download High Sierra. The newer ones aren't compatible with your Mac.

Thanks... other then a possible issue with an old version of Quicken I see no major applications issue. Since I am a novice on Apple stuff I have one more question.. what is the best way to pick the best upgrade for my model? It is an early 2011 MacBook Pro 15-inch... thanks again for your help...
