I installed updates to my computer (#CO***HJF) around noon. It took almost 2 hours. I shut down the computer and restarted it as directed. It has been 4 hours. The start up bar is completely there but the computer won’t open to the home screen.

I installed updates to my computer (#CO***HJF) around noon. It took almost 2 hours. I shut down the computer and restarted it as directed. It has been 4 hours. The start up bar is completely there but the computer won’t open to the home screen.

I updated my computer around noon. It took almost 90 minutes. I shut down and rebooted the computer 3 hours ago. The Apple logo is there and the start up bar is complete. The computer will not advance to my home screen.

Hold the power button in until it shuts down, hold alt key on next startup.
