Movie purchase from Itunes still available?
Can you purchase movies for my Mac and download from Itunes? It seems no longer possible...??

Use the TV App - Not iTunes:
What is the Operating System of your Mac? To Find Out, go to: Apple menu > About this Mac > View the operating system (top item). iTunes is not available in current macOS versions. So, if you are looking to download a movie, then open the TV App. You would select the movie, and then press the "down arrow with a cloud" on the "Bottom-Right corner" of the Movie's icon.
