Good morning. Have tried to use the 'draw mask' effect for the first time. After adding control points to the selection, the control points continue to stay around and do not disappear. What should I do to make them disappear? The relevant screenshot is given below:

Select another effect or outside of the Draw Mask effect in the Inspector. For example, on "Compositing" just under the added effects area.
So simple! Just clicked upon the composting title bar and those red dots simply vanished. Gosh Fox, you are awesome:). I specifically watched some YouTube tutorials on how to draw masks, but, they did not touch upon this little point of how to get rid of those points! Some moves are so elementary that we don't pay attention to the tiny details of the process.
