I invited friend to collaborate on pages but she couldn't open the file. What's the problem here?

To verify, was your friend able to accept the invite? If not, have her take a look at the steps under “If collaboration isn’t available” from this link”
About collaboration for Pages, Numbers, and Keynote
If she was able to accept the invite but can’t open the file, have them restart their device and try opening once more. If they still can’t open it, see if switching networks helps.
If they run into further issues, let me know what device and OS they are attempting to open the document on, along with details on any errors they may be receiving when they attempt to open it.
