Error: “Cannot send message using the server” in mail 10.15
I keep getting this error from time to time. My MM is set up as a blind server running 10.15 and one of its jobs is to send emails to people. About 10 to 20 a day. Every now-and-than it throws this error. I have not been able to see a pattern as it might happen today but not tomorrow.
Any idea as to why this could happen?

If it only happens once in awhile, and you're able to send it successfully, it's possibly an error with the email client server. I would reach out to them to see if they have a sending limit. For example, iCloud email accounts have some limits on the number of messages that you can send at once or daily, the size of outgoing messages, how frequently you can send an email in a specific amount of time, etc.

Your email provider may have something similar.

Thank you for reaching out at Apple Support Communities today. If I understand correctly you intermittently run into an issue where your email isn’t able to send after upgrading to macOS Catalina. Are you able to send the email at any point after you see this error prompt?

Nope no such limits. I have my own ISP and can send what and when and how much I like.
