FaceTime photos

I am really disappointed with FaceTime photos not all captured saving to gallery. This is really frustrating missing my new born’s memories.

i had turned off and on FaceTime settings and photo options multiple time and still it’s same out of 20 I get 4 to 5 pics saved.

I am facings this issue from last 2 or 3 update on my XR.

Update to iOS 13.5.1

Use FaceTime Live Photos

With iOS 12.1.4 and later, and iPadOS, you can capture moments with your friends and family using Live Photos during a FaceTime video call. Here's how:

  1. Start a FaceTime video call.
  2. Tap the shutter button  to take a photo.
  3. Go to your Photos app to find the photos you saved.

To save FaceTime Live Photos, all participants need iOS 12.1.4 or later, or iPadOS. Not all features of FaceTime Live Photos are available with earlier versions of iOS. FaceTime Live Photos doesn’t work with iOS 11.
