Goolge Meets

I am seeing a lot of Google questions in the search, and feel that my question may fall into the same category. I used Google meets for the first time last night (as host) and it said "closing because using too much disk space" (or similar; it was happening during the meeting, so I didn't pay real close attention). After the 2nd warning, it shut me off. I went to the link and joined (my own meeting) and everything worked fine. But after ending the meeting, I cannot get the window to close (no force close option) and Safari will not even close it.

Hello there CBC_Mac,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

I understand that you are having issues with your Google Meets meeting closing due to low disk space and you are not able to close it. I am more than happy to help you out with this.

Before beginning any troubleshooting, I would recommend backing up your device so that all of your information is saves somewhere. To do this, check out this article:

Back up your Mac with Time Machine

If it is saying that the issue is related to low disk space, I would recommend checking to see how much free space you have on the device. To do this and for some tips on how to free up space on your Mac, check out this article:

How to free up storage space on your Mac

After you are done freeing up space, I would recommend resetting your SMC and your NVRAM. For information on what this Intels and steps on how to do it, check out these articles:

I hope this helps! Have a great day!
