iPod Nano to iPhone

I have a model A1320 iPod Nano and wish to transfer the music content to my iPhone 7. is this possible? If so, how?

Hello,

It is not possible to transfer music from one iPod to another. You will need to synchronize your iPhone with the computer you originally synchronized your music library to your old iPod.

Thank you for your helpful response. I've now downloaded an update on my old MacBook (which contains my iPod music in iTunes) to allow my iPhone to connect. (its icon shows an attachment when iTunes is selected) How do i now copy the music onto my iPhone which at present does not show a 'Music" app?
