Why is track not compatile with iPod?
Using CD source for music, this time "Puffin Billy", the Captain Kangaroo theme, is denied to be copied to iPod. True with iPod classics as well as iPod Touch.
What is the problem, how do I fix?

You cannot use iTunes or Music to copy directly from CD to an iPod. Tracks must be imported into the library, then synced or manually added to a device. What format, bit and sample rate have you used for the import? Tracks that might play in the library may not necessarily be compatible with your devices.

Does it play properly in iTunes? You might be able to convert it to a new copy that will sync. You could also see Repair security permissions for iTunes for Windows - Apple Community just in case it is a weird permissions issue. Otherwise yes, you may need to re-rip the original disc.

Find it, delete it and reinstall
Have to reinstall the whole CD
It must have been apparent but missed...
Puffin Billy was copied ~2010 to iTunes
iTunes library was migrated to, now, the third Windows machine
any time I sync either iPod classic or iPod Touch, I get this message.
SO what do I do to get it sync'd with iPod (either)?
Must I dig up the CD and re-copy to iTunes?...
