I’ve noticed that my notification banners persist even though they are set to be temporary. Example, I’m browsing Safari I’ll get a missed phone call from an unknown number. The banner sticks to the top of the page and won’t go away unless it’s clicked on. Same issue with other apps notifications . I think this started for me since iOS 13.5.1 update.

I see that the notification banners you've set up aren't working as expected since updating your iPhone to iOS 13.5.1. Instead of a temporary banner disappearing in a few moments, you have to clear the notification manually, and I'm glad to help with this.
Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch -- Change the banner notification to permanent on one of your applications, then restart your iPhone. Once your iPhone is back to the Home screen, change the notification back to temporary and see if it clears as it should.
