Location stops sharing on its own

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. From what I am understanding is location sharing stops sharing your location, correct? Let's take a look into this!

They're many variables from environmental, network, software, or hardware. To isolate which variable it could be, we can start with some settings check.

1. Let's variety iCloud is signed in and "Find My" is on
2. In Settings > Privacy > Location Services in On
3. Please Tap on Location Services to verify an app you might be using has access to your location

Before going into software troubleshooting, a back up of the data on the device would be encourage to iCloud or iTunes: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
