Can MacBook Pro be found through Find My Device?

My Mac Book Pro was stolen from a service centre during looting in the recent riots in LA. Can it be found thru find my device or can the data be extracted from the hard drive???

how do I find the last location of a divice I can't find and think was stolen I think someone either took my MacBook after I left if somewhere but I can't see its last known location can anyone help
