automator backup ios
I am trying to create an automation to backup iOS devices connected to the mac. This should get the connected devices (which it does) and run backup. But it fails and I don't understand why.
Mac mini, macOS 10.15

I have asked this thread be moved to the forum where most Automator users reside.
I would also note that http://www.bombich.com/ Carbon Copy Cloner is an excellent scriptable backup software.
Carbon Copy doesn't backup iOS devices.
How do I move the post? Where is the automator forum?
Not directly. But an iTunes backup file can be part of your backup process that Carbon Copy Cloner can copy at a specified time.
This question isn't how to backup the backup.
The question is how to trigger the IOS device to backup to the Mac. Also, iTunes isn't involved with iOS backups anymore.
