TP link UE 300 not working on my MacBook Air with Catalina 10.15.5

Hi I have just bought a TP link UE 300 USB 3.0 Ethernet adapter. It does show USB 10/100/1000 connection active with a green dot but the websites do not load. Can someone help please. Thanks

Hello Amitisdboss,

I understand you're not able to load webpages when using your Ethernet adapter. I'm happy to help you out with this so you can start surfing the web.

First, try out the steps listed here: Connect your Mac to the internet using Ethernet. Those steps will make sure you have the network connection set up correctly. If the issue persists, try unplugging the adapter, restart your Mac, and then plug the adapter back in. If you're able to, try it using a different Ethernet cable as well.
