Invalid Card Error

Hi,

I have been using Iphone 8 for 2 years and had my debit card in wallet for apple pay and worked perfectly.

Now I got an Iphone 11 Pro, trying to add the same card again but I am constantly getting invalid card error. I talked to Apple support and my bank several times. Card details are correct, card is not added on a different Iphone, my region, address, all other possible details are right. Yet I keep getting the same error. Apple support made me believe it was an error caused by my bank so I cancelled my card and issued a new card. A brand new debit card with a different card number, security code and expiry date yet I get the same error ´´invalid card´´.

I have different cards already in use in apple pay, including one card from the same bank so bank is ok. I am convinced that it is not an issue caused by bank.

Appreciate your support, and please, please don´t send me generic links where same check out this check out that recommendations are listed.

Try signing out of your Apple ID and back in. Then change your Apple ID region to something else then change it back to the correct region - Change your Apple ID country or region - Apple Support

Hi,

Thanks for your reply but unfortunately did not work out. When I logged out all cards have been removed from wallet. I have other 3 cards that I could add again successfully but when it comes to this new debit it says invalid card error.

If you get an error that you already have the maximum amount of cards in wallet with less than 22 cards signing out of your Apple ID and back in usually resolves this issue.
If you are getting a message to contact the card issuer, call the bank or credit card company who issued you the card to make sure there are no restrictions on the card.
If you are getting a message that Apple Pay services are unavailable at this time, sign out of your Apple ID and back in.

If you have trouble adding a card to wallet;

Sometimes if you sign out of your Apple ID and back in it resolves the problem.
Check your Apple ID region to make sure it is correct. If it is correct, you may need to select the same region again. (Change your Apple ID country or region - Apple Support)
Check the region on your device to ensure it is correct (Settings>general>language & region - set to your region)
A passcode is required to use the Wallet app.
You need to be in a region that supports Apple Pay - Countries and regions that support Apple Pay - Apple Support
Your bank needs to support Apple Pay - Apple Pay participating banks - Apple Support
