Hidden files in Files app

Hi, I’m using the Apple camera adapter (lightning to USB) to connect my TomTom to my iPhone. While on the road I can create and download routes from a website to my iPhone, and then transfer these routes to my TomTom Rider (these are .itn files). The only problem is when I transfer a route called test.itn, after transferring it to the navigation device it has also created a file ._test.itn on my TomTom, which shows as a route on the device, but (of course) is not a valid route file. The filesyetm on the TomTom is FAT, so it does not hide files starting with a "." like iOs and macOs.

The Files app on the iPhone does not show this file because it starts with a “.”, and these files are hidden from the user on iOS. Is there a way to force the Files app to show these files, so I can remove them, or does anyone know of a third party file manager app for iOS that can handle these hidden files?

Or, even better disable the creation of these ._ files…

No, they are not. When I connect the TomTom to my Mac I can delete them using the terminal, and everything functions normal after I have deleted them. These files have nothing to do with the route, and can be safely deleted. The files are created to store file information that would otherwise go into an extended attribute on HFS+ (Apple native) or Unix/UFS volumes; in earlier Mac OS this would be the resource fork.
