You have 14 days from purchase to return the phone no question asked. If you are within that time frame, you can

1. Go to your closest Apple Store and return it there for refund, then buy the phone you want OR
2. If you can't go to an Apple Store, contact Apple Support to start the return process. Use the Contact Support at the top of this page on the top right hand corner, of call Apple (if in the US) at: 800-MY-APPLE

If you've had your phone longer than 14 days, you have past the window to return the phone.

You have 14 days after the purchase date to exchange it.
