Deleted music keeps re downloading.

Hi so one day out of curiosity I clicked on “downloaded music” under the music home page wondering what difference once since all music is downloaded. Well right after that songs that I DO NOT want on my phone and have been deleted, keep re downloading no matter how many times I delete them. My recently downloaded is now showing a bunch of stuff that I either deleted or downloaded a very long time ago. How can I fix this to keep deleted music from re downloading onto my phone? So frustrating thanks in advance

Hi Jluna303,

Thanks for posting your question. If I understand correctly, you have a question about music downloading to your iPhone. I'll be glad to see how I can help.

The "Downloaded Music" section shows all content downloaded directly to your device, as opposed to content that might be in your Music library but isn't downloaded. It sounds like you might want to start by turning off automatic downloads for Music under Settings > iTunes & App Store: Update apps or use automatic downloads

Once you turn that off, try deleting a few songs from the "Downloaded Music" section. Does that help?

Take care.
