I purchased an app using the wrong Apple Id and want to family share it on our main Apple id account. If I change my Apple in iOS will the purchases port over to allow family sharing?

You should't have to change the ID on the device to set up Family Sharing.
You can try setting up Family Sharing between the IDs if you want to be able to share purchases made with the IDs.
