Was directed here from a How To on setting up WiFiBlast for MacBook Pro. The info there was incomplete, only initiated the process, didn't finish, so followed the provided link to More... There isn't anything listed at that/this link about setting up a WiFiBlast. Info on setting up a WiFi repeater to router, but not one of these little booster gizmos, specifically WiFi Blast from ... (oh, that's disturbing, no mfg listed on the packaging or enclosed instructions, that, btw, were much liked the previous website, useless) {Frequently encountered general ?: Why, when instructions are followed precisely, are the results of steps in the progression a road block in that they are not what the instructions say should appear and contain no options to proceed} The online/YouTube tutorials must be all for Microsoft because once past the initial "Preferences, Network" selections there is zero resemblance between what the tutorials show and my MacBook Pro. There are tutorials on linking the WiFiBlast w/ a smart phone (generic), and that may work for the phone, but I want to put the home network through the Blast by linking it to the AirPort Extreme/Time Machine that is ether cable linked to the ATT modem. Does anyone know how to do that that can explain in step by step instructions where icons and windows will look at least a little bit familiar and use the same terminology as other Apple products?? Please take a tech pre-pre-literate old timer in hand and tow me through the process. Thank you greatly.

I'm assuming that "WiFiBlast," you are referring to here, is a wireless network extender device ... correct?

If so, take a look at the following PC Magazine article on "The Best Wireless Range Extenders for 2020." Notice that WiFiBlast is not on the list?

The Apple AirPort base stations are designed to work only with other AirPort base station for extending their wireless networks. Using any other third-party extender will result in either it not working or with dismal results.

Not sure why you are directed here, since this is the support forum for the Apple WiFi routers......the AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme and AirPort Time Capsule that you see pictured below.

If you have a question about one of these products, then we can likely help.

If you are asking about setting up something on your MacBook Pro, I suppose there is a possibility that another user might see your post who is familiar with WiFi Blast, so you can wait to see if anyone replies.

However, since you are asking about setting up something on a MacBook Pro........it might make more sense to consider posting in the support forum for the MacBook Pro. The link to that support site is just below if you want to give that a try. Good luck!
