need to update my my software

my iPhone is not compatible to my mac mini , they need to update OS X 10.11.4

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and if your Mac mini is a 2009 or newer model, download El Capitan. If not, that iPhone isn't compatible with it.

If you're running an OS earlier than 10.6.8, you'll need to update to it first.
