folders locking position on desktop, I got solution

HI, I went on here because I encountered problem where, after an update, suddenly I couldn't move any of the folders on my desktop. They were locked in place. I tried many of the things suggested here but none of it worked. Then, I decided to right click on one of the folders. I saw then that "stacks" was checked. I unchecked that and now all is good. I can move my folders around. Wanted to add this to the solutions.
