if i connect my airpods pro to one device and then switch devices will my features stay the same?

If you're signed in to iCloud, your AirPods are set up automatically with any of your supported devices that are signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID, so if all of your devices are sharing this information, the settings should remain the same for all devices.
