Idle mode canon printer

Hello! I bought a new printer Canon Pixma G1010 and I have a macbook pro OS Mojave 10.14 So the installer of the printer is for windows, thats why I researched online for the printer installer and then I downloaded the G1000 series and after installation the printer is on IDLE mode. And I cannot print. Anyone? What should I do?

Printer presets not saving Since upgrading to Ventura, my printer presets are not saving. I already had working printer presets in place before upgrading, such as 2 page B&W from drawer three. Part of the preset works. It will print 2 page B&W, but it doesn't pull specifically from drawer three. I've only noticed a problem in the drawer selection and the scaling options. I tried creating new presets and those didn't work either. I also updated the driver and it didn't correct it. I've read posts from other people will similar issues, but the only responses I see are how to set up a preset. Not knowing how to create a preset is clearly not the issue. It doesn't seem to be printer specific (this happens with my Brother printer and my Canon printer), nor computer specific (this happens with both of my Macs). I had hoped this would be fixed with 13.1, but the problem still exists. Any ideas?

The Specification from Canon clearly states Pixma G1010 is not supported for macOS.

Couple of thoughts

Exchange with a supported for macOS printer.
Use Bootcamp / Virtual Machine and install Microsoft Windows and check if that work's out.

Performing trial and error with device installer / driver other than designated to the product puts a risk of damaging your printer or mac.

but it says in the web that theres an installer for it already and it is compatible with mac os mojave and it falls under g1000 series.
