Is there a way to turn off auto brightness on the keyboard
My iPad has been automatically changing its brightness and I want to turn that off and just leave it on the brightness I would like it to be

Settings>Accessibility>Display & Text Size... the last option at the very bottom. Disable it.
When done, restart your iPad then set your own brightness level in Settings>Display & Brightness

I did that but it’s says it’s disabled but it still keeps on doing the brightness by itself
Try to enable then disable again 2-3 times. Then restart your ipad.
Check also "night shift", "True Tone" or everything else can affect your screen colors / brightness.
