Apple Watch Causing Skin Cancer/Burn

I have this spot on my wrist that looks similar to squamous cell carcinoma. I am a nursing student and am able to clearly tell what this is. The spot is located where my Apple Watch Series 3 watch sits daily and has now been on my wrist for 7 months. I looked into this online and noticed other people have the same burn/skin cancer mark where their Apple Watch was sitting. What can Apple do to fix this issue? I have a permanent mark on my wrist from one of their products and I am unable to email them directly.
