Recovery mode and out of space - how to restore photos and videos?

If so, your ability to recover any data is gone.

I have not backed up to a iCloud or iTunes.

Thank you for your prompt response. I will go into the Apple store to seek help, failing that, I will try an independent repairer.

To be clear, Apple has no data recovery options.

If your device is disabled, the best they can do is erase it and restore it. Not what you want.

Save yourself that trip.

Do you think i can take it to a data recovery repairer who can take out the hardware with the memory and place it in another iPhone to read the data? I know that sounds far fetched but I’m really desperate! Any help would be appreciated.

No personal experience, but my knowledge of how iOS data is protected tells me no.

Accessing the hardware and data is one thing. It's the encryption that may be the issue. If the encryption key is deleted or damaged, you may get data that can't be made to make sense.
