What should I do if I can’t access any of my apps or shut down my phone? I’m using another one of my family members phones right now.

You did not state which iPhone you have so I am going to use the information in your profile and conclude that it is an iPhone XR.

1) Force Restart the phone:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF)

If that does not work then-

2) Follow the instructions in this article by Apple âž” If your iPhone is Non-Responsive or Frozen and see if that helps.

3) If none of the above works then please contact âž” Apple Support
