Window Size

My windows have started opening at a size larger than my MacBook Pro screen and I have to manually resize them on opening, and doing so doesn't seem to retain the size since the same screen will again open too wide when I go back to it later. How can I set the default folder opening size to conform to my laptop's screen as it used to do?

Jaymate,

I'm glad you decided to reach out on the Apple Support Communities. If you’re opening windows that are suddenly too large for your MacBook Pro screen, you may just need to adjust the resolution on your device.

Go to System Preferences > Displays > Display and select the "Default for display" radio button.

Does this resolve your issue?
