Mass delete unread emails from Apple Mail?

Is there ANY way to do this? I have 20,000+ unread emails that have accumulated over years and year and want to remove because they're taking up a crazy amount of space on my MacBook air. But I don't see any way to do this other than hand selecting them.

Help?

Filter by "unread" then Select All then Delete.
