iPhone 11 Battery Leak From Extended Battery Back - corrosive damage
I’ve had an iPhone 11 with an original iPhone 11 extended battery pack which appears to have leaked. The area where it’s leaked is near the SIM card tray and it’s actually corrosive as it’s ‘melted’ away the metal on the SIM card tray and around the SIM card tray. You can see the white residue in the case where the battery has leaked. According to Apple engineers there’s no liquid in the battery so where has the white residue come from and how has the corrosion been caused in and around the SIM card tray ? I need some help as I believe this is dangerous and had that acid gone on to my hand it could have caused damage to my fingers.
