No sound coming out of my left AirPod

I really need help and I’m not sure what to do. A couple days ago I noticed that I was only hearing sound come out of my right AirPod and the left one has no sound coming out of it. And it says that they’re both connecting just fine but I can’t hear anything out of the left one. I’m not sure if this has anything to do with the fact that a couple weeks back my left AirPod also fell into the bathtub not even five seconds was it in the water though. But after that incident it worked just fine but I’m not sure what’s going on now.
