iPad with forgotten passcode & more Hello everyone, I’ve had my iPad for some time now, and while I have a significant amount of artwork stored on it, I’ve unfortunately forgotten the passcode. I do have proof of ownership, including the original box, Find My details, and iCloud. Although I hadn’t used the iPad for about a year, I recently discovered it and remembered my saved artwork. While I do have Face ID set up, it’s prompting me for the passcode instead. I’ve tried various potential passcodes like my birthday, current iPhone passcode, and some patterns, but to no avail. I’m also unable to use “Find My” to reset because the WiFi seems to have expired (I’m not sure of the right term, but it’s asking for the WiFi passcode). I thought of possibly using Ethernet, so I’ll give that a try. With iTunes, the only options seem to be to restore or update the device. I’d like to avoid this because I prefer the current iOS version; newer updates might slow the iPad down. I’m at a loss on how to access my artwork without losing it. If anyone has any suggestions or solutions, I’d greatly appreciate it. I’m willing to provide proof of ownership or even visit an Apple Store with it. Thank you in advance, Blue 💙

If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
