Using Indian Sim on the IPAD brought from US

HI,

I bought an IPAD Air with cellular support from US . I tried to use it in India with an Indian sim and was not able to use it. Is there any settings required to use the sim ?

If using a nano-SIM, you should be able to use your US-sourced iPad. You will require a Data-SIM; a SIM intended for a mobile phone will not work with iPad.
