Well, as stated before, once a new device is released, the older models are discontinued. The insides of the 2020 version are almost identical to the 2019 version. The differences are the 2020 device has LiDAR, an extra GPU core in the 2020 device, and 6 GB of RAM vs the 4GB in the 2019 version.

Correct. Once a new device is released, the older models are discontinued. Why do you specifically need the 2019 version?

If you want a gen 3 12.9 you are going to need to purchase a refurbished one. I just purchased one on Newegg.com. The only new in box ones I’ve seen are the 64 GB model.
