Can I get my superdrive working again in Catalina.
MacBook Pro 17″, macOS 10.13
My MacBook Pro has USB-c and the superdrive has USB so I need a usb-c to usb connector. But the superdrive stopped working also on my iMac after I updated the macOS software. And I plugged the USB in direct. I'm afraid it is a software problem.
Make sure it is connected directly to the computer, not through a hub.
FWIW, it's always possible the SuperDrive has failed. I have one and it works fine in Catalina 10.15.5.
