Airdrop not working on myMacbook Pro early 2011 nor iMac late 2009

I'm unable to see either of my Macs airdrop from my iPhone xr running 13.4.1

Although Airdrop seems to be there on each mac they can't be found. Airdrop on the two macs doesn't give any options ir contacts, everyone. I've turned wifi and bluetooth on and off, restarted and nothing works. Can anyone help - so hard transferring files without this
