iTunes error

Most of my equipment is apple except one PC that is my powerhouse workstation. Yesterday it stopped using airplay to play to my Apple TV. It gives me an error of -1001. I can't find that error anywhere. If I try again it says airplay is in use.


Everything is updated. This worked like a dream 2 days ago. No firewall, no new apps. Just me trying to get a movie to play and it will not connect. Please help.

iTunes Error 1001 is a thought to be a Purchase Validation Error. It will try to connect to the iTunes Store to validate.

Verify that you are signed in to iTunes on the PC with the same Apple ID account as used for the purchase of that content, as well as the matching account on Apple TV.
