Hello Sergio,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. From what I am understanding is that you would like to know if it's possible to extract photos contained in an iPhone backup that you have stored on your Mac, correct? Let's take a look into this!

You can locate, make a copy of, and delete backups of your iPhone, however extracting content such as photos from the backup is not supported:

Locate backups of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

You would need to restore the backup containing the photos to a compatible iOS device in order to view them:

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup

If you used iCloud Photos on the iPhone, the photos may possibly be stored in iCloud as they are not included in a backup in that scenario. You can try setting up iCloud Photos on the Mac, or visit https://www.icloud.com/photos to see if you can view the photos:

Set up and use iCloud Photos

Hopefully this helps!

Cheers!
